Street Level Studio Honored by Highwood Chamber of Commerce

PRLog (Press Release) – Feb 08, 2008 – The Highwood Chamber of Commerce recently honored Street Level Studio, a Chicago-area marketing communications and graphic design firm, for its pro bono work on the local organization’s behalf. During the Chamber chapter’s annual luncheon meeting, held in January 2008, owners Joe and Wendy Davis and the entire Street Level Studio staff were on hand to accept a custom plaque from Board member Leonard Innocenzi, owner of Buffo’s Restaurant in Highwood.

In presenting the award, Innocenzi commended “the people of Street Level Studio for their willingness, over the years, to help out whenever asked.” He praised them for their contribution of “time and outstanding creativity” toward raising awareness of Highwood and its business community.

Street Level Studio has a long history of supporting its community by offering design and marketing services to local organizations. In addition, Joe Davis, a former Alderman on the Highwood City Council, has served on the Board of Directors of several Chambers of Commerce and as chairman of the Downtown Redevelopment Commission in Highland Park. He and his wife have organized several art projects in Highwood over the years. One program, a public art bench effort, received wide recognition for its positive impact on the emerging downtown business district.

Located at 250 Waukegan Avenue in a rehabbed Tucker Automobile dealership, Street Level Studio has been a Highwood fixture for nearly two decades, serving clients such as Brunswick, Life Fitness, Emerald Spa Corporation, TAP Pharmaceutical Products, and Océ USA. The studio’s services include award-winning design and copywriting, website development, and full-scale production for print, online, multi-media, in-store, and events-related marketing communications.
