Share and Enjoy Youthful Memories with "The Velveteen Rabbit's Future Adventures"

Margery Williams tickled our imaginations with the lovable bunny in her original novel, The Velveteen Rabbit. R.W. Elliott gives readers more of the furry character in his new book, The Velveteen Rabbit’s Further Adventures.

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

PRLog (Press Release)Feb 07, 2008 – The Velveteen Rabbit was last pictured amongst the forest rabbits, having been left behind by the
Magic Fairy. In this latest addition to the original Velveteen Rabbit, the author explores the further
adventures the rabbit encounters. Will the Velveteen Rabbit and the Boy ever be reunited? Readers
will not only have the opportunity to have their questions answered, but they will once again get to
experience this magical world and the happy memories associated with growing up reading about the
Velveteen Rabbit.

The Velveteen Rabbit is going to be accessible like never before. Not only will readers receive the
satisfaction of reading more, but the book will also contain the original Velveteen Rabbit as well! In
addition, one dollar from every book purchased will be donated to Down Syndrome research.

R.W. Elliott first discovered The Velveteen Rabbit when reading a collection of children’s books to his
daughter, Faydra. Honoring and expanding on Margery Williams’ original work are served here well
by Mr. Elliott’s gift for story telling, coupled with his background in theater, work in front of and
behind the camera in the film industry, and service as an independent producer of TV cable
broadcasts.

Originally penned as a gift to his daughter, The Velveteen Rabbit’s Further Adventures was
eventually read by others outside the family. It was their encouragement that prompted Mr. Elliott to
make the book available to the general public. Faydra is a mother now. She and her husband,
Preston, have two sons- Christian and Ian. It is to Mr. Elliott’s grandsons that the book is dedicated.

The Velveteen Rabbit’s Further Adventures is available in softcover (ISBN 978-1-60264-062-7) from
Virtualbookworm.com, Amazon.com and Barnes and Noble.com. The book can also be ordered from
most bookstores around the United States and the United Kingdom.
