R.W. Elliott first discovered The Velveteen Rabbit when reading a collection of children’s books to his
daughter, Faydra. Honoring and expanding on Margery Williams’ original work are served here well
by Mr. Elliott’s gift for story telling, coupled with his background in theater, work in front of and
behind the camera in the film industry, and service as an independent producer of TV cable
broadcasts.
Originally penned as a gift to his daughter, The Velveteen Rabbit’s Further Adventures was
eventually read by others outside the family. It was their encouragement that prompted Mr. Elliott to
make the book available to the general public. Faydra is a mother now. She and her husband,
Preston, have two sons- Christian and Ian. It is to Mr. Elliott’s grandsons that the book is dedicated.
The Velveteen Rabbit’s Further Adventures is available in softcover (ISBN 978-1-60264-

most bookstores around the United States and the United Kingdom.
