Concrete pools usually come with the minimum 7 year warranty which is mandatory, and is very rarely extended by the builder due to various reasons.

This is required to be done by the engineer to enable him to guarantee his specifications will be sufficient to survive any movement in the ground.
Secondly, Fibreglass Pools usually come with a 20 or 25 year warranty, and this is a big advantage.
Should a fibreglass pool be installed in a mine subsidence area it is installed exactly the same as if it were anywhere else and no strengthening or buffering is required.
Likewise in a partial rock excavation, no piering or other work is required, other than that which is needed in a normal installation.
Added to the above is the ease of maintenance, super smooth finish and 4 day installation, Mr Michael from http://www.JustPools.net.au says “I can see no reason to go past a fibreglass pool, unless of course, your site dictates that your pool must be built on the side of a hill or an extreme slope, in which case a concrete pool is the answer”.
