Nine-time champion Frank Kimmel will return to defend his championship, but he will face some of his toughest competition yet. Veteran drivers Bobby Gerhart, Justin Allgaier, Dexter Bean, and Jeremy Clements will give Kimmel a run for the title, as will
rookies Scott Speed, Tayler Malsam, Ricky Stenhouse Jr, and Ryan Fischer. Sophomore drivers Ken Butler III, Bryan Silas, Dominick Casola, Patrick Sheltra, and Gabi DiCarlo hope to do the same.
