The Pasch Consulting Group is warning consumers about a new email scam by a company called SEO Traffic Labs. Their unsolicited email campaigns are offering search engine optimization and link building services to website owners.
An email was received on February 1, 2008 addressed to Brian Pasch, CEO of Pasch Consulting Group offering an "opportunity"
Mr. Pasch investigated the website for SEO Traffic Labs and found the following:
1. The website URL was purchased on January 20, 2008 by an unknown business.
2. The website located at www.seotrafficlabs.com cannot be more than 12 days old.
3. The website has only 4 pages of content.
4. The website has a Google pagerank score of zero out of a possible 10.
Consumers are be warned to avoid emails from SEO Traffic Labs as their website shows no knowledge of Search Engine Optimization "best practices" and their marketing practices include unsolicited spam with no opt-out facility. Brian Pasch suggests that any company offering SEO consulting services must demonstrate their own ability to rank well with the search engines. A website that is two weeks old and has only four pages of text is a poor example of SEO expertise.
The email from SEO Traffic Labs was sent from a "Steven Henderson", which may be a fictitious name. Consumers are warned by the Pasch Consulting Group to investigate all unsolicited emails before doing business with an unknown company.
Brian Pasch is a search engine optimization and Internet marketing consultant and founder of Pasch Consulting Group. The Pasch Consulting Group website is located at http://www.seonj.com
