Brandon Connell of RankRover barters for the Black Pearl

PRLog (Press Release) – Feb 01, 2008 – Brandon Connell, owner of RankRover posted a barter on Craigslist in Chicago February 1st. The unusual part is that the barter is for a real pirate ship.

The ad reads:

"I have always wanted a real pirate ship. If you have one I am looking to barter with you. Something like the Black Pearl or that pirate ship in the old computer game "Monkey Island" would be good. Send me photos of your pirate ship when you reply."

While Brandon understands that the ad will most likely be flagged most of the time, he says that he will keep posting the ad until he gets his pirate ship.

"I have wanted a pirate ship ever since I was a young boy and I played an old dos computer game titled Monkey Island. I played that game all the way through and it took me about 5 hours to beat. The idea of sailing the ship and the wind blowing in my hair is just something I can only dream of. It was either a pirate ship or live the life of leisure suit larry" says Brandon with a laugh.
