PR Log (Press Release) – Feb 01, 2008 – How often can you get something valuable for free?  Sacramento based Blast Advanced Media, http://www.blastam.com/, has teamed with Borders to offer free classes at local Borders bookstores.  Classes cover Ecommerce, User Centered Design, Performance Centered Design, and Website Conversion Optimization.  Blast and Borders aim to gather a variety of people from the community to share knowledge during interactive, educational and fun events on web design and online marketing.  February classes will be held at both Sacramento and Roseville Borders locations and the public is invited to attend the free classes to learn from experts in the field.

Turn On Your Competitive Advantage!  Charles Davis, Solutions Director at Blast Advanced Media, will provide valuable insight to help students identify what works and what stops users from taking the desired actions on their web site.  By the end of the class the students will understand how to:

  Use data to make better, smarter business decisions regarding their websites
  Become more adept at identifying key obstacles preventing people from taking the desired actions on their web sites
  Use key performance indicators to measure their online success

This class is based on experience running a company with a website that was a large source of revenue and experience working at Sacramento based web design agency Blast Advanced Media. The class will include a humorous deconstruction analysis of audience web sites to explain problems and solutions for their web site issues.
