North Carolina Blues Show Raises Funds, Awareness For Katrina Musicians.
Though best known for his performance for Queen Elizabeth on her recent visit to the US, Hillsborough NC singer/pianist Adrian Duke is performing a special concert in downtown Hillsborough to benefit the Renew Our Music Fund (formerly the New Orleans Musicians Hurricane Fund). The Renew Our Music Fund is unmatched in grants, subsidies, and financial & crisis support for New Orleans musicians effected by hurricane Katrina.
Adrian will perform music from his new CD "Adriatica" and well as selections of tradition New Orleans music. All profits and CD sales will go to the Renew Our Music Fund.
