SketchFile.com, Announces The Introduction Of Its New User Created Art Gallery

PRLog (Press Release) – Jan 31, 2008 – The new artist community website, SketchFile.com, announces the introduction of its new user created art gallery. “One of my goals with SketchFile is to create an art community in which artists can share their work with others. Our gallery allows SketchFile members to contribute to the site, discuss each others work and provide visitors with engaging content”, says Tim Hallinan, founder and owner of SketchFile.com.

http://www.SketchFile.com allows artists to display their drawings, sketches, photographs and other images in several medium specific galleries. There are currently 26 galleries and sub galleries including painting, drawing, mixed media and photography. "Artists can easily upload, manage and share their work with the world", says SketchFile team member Judy Norton. By adding the gallery, SketchFile continues to work towards their goal of creating an online art gallery and an artist community.

In addition to the recent introduction of member created galleries, http://www.SketchFile.com aims to increase visitor interaction by encouraging writers to submit essays, articles and creative writing for inclusion in our directory. “Allowing authors to post their art related writing benefits everyone, including the general visitor, by offering quality and interesting content.” explains TH. Authors wishing to publish their work and gain exposure on the web will find SketchFile an exciting and helpful new resource.  

SketchFile.com is looking to add more features for artists in the near future and has, in fact begun working on new additions to the growing website. Plans include the addition of an auction page, artist marketplace and art job listings.
