iDTRONIC releases the Compact Flash RFID Reader 14443 A/B as part of its Compact Flash Reader Family

PRLog (Press Release)Jan 29, 2008 – Modern Mobile Readers are getting more and more compact as demonstrated by iDTRONIC’ s new lightweight CF 14443 A/B, which weighs just s 17 grams and measures only 62mm x 43mm x 6,5 mm.

The new Compact Flash Module from iDTRONIC is designed for the integration of RFID Technologies from PDA’s, Handheld Terminals and other mobile devices. The CF Reader connects modern Pocket PC and PDA models with the integrated CF2 Interface and supports the latest versions of Windows CE and Windows Mobile 5 operating systems.

With the new iDTRONIC CF Reader 14443 A/B users can read and write all common High Frequency transponders, including NXP Mifare MF1S50, MF1S70, Desfire and Ultralight as well as the STM 176 transponder. It also supports a variety of 14443 B tags, as well as Sony’s Felica transponders.

The standard reading distance for the CF Reader is up to 40 mm and as additional option an external antenna for longer read ranges is available.

iDTRONIC’s Compact Flash Reader – ISO 14443A/B is suitable for :
