PRLog (Press Release)Jan 28, 2008 – Inter-Media Consultant Co., Ltd. together with the Bureau of Welfare Promotion and Protection of Children, Youth, the Disadvantaged, Persons with Disabilities and Older Persons hosted a ceremony for results announcement and prize-giving to winners in the “Unpolluted Breath” Project contest at Meeting Room 2, second floor, IMPACT Convention Center, Muang Thong Thani presided over by Mr.Poldej Pinprateep, Deputy Minister of Social Development and Human Security Ministry.

Mr. Kwanchai Paphatphong, President of Inter-Media Consultant Co., Ltd. and Organizing Chairman of the “24th THAILAND INTERNATIONAL MOTOR EXPO 2007” disclosed that this year the company would spend the revenue from the Motor Expo entry ticket sales on Grand Charity Day plus money donated by various car companies taking part in the Grand Charity Night, together totaling 2.2 million Baht, on the “Uncontaminated Breath” Project which has the objective of cultivating the conscience of youths and citizens of all walks of life to have good morals and ethics, caring about public interest, and creating a common front in combating corruption and misconduct in Thai society.

   In the year 2007, the Project organized 3 types of activities to reinforce the value of honesty as follows.    

1. Essay contest “A true story of honesty that I know”

For under-18 and 18-25 years old in 2007, length within one A4 page typed with computer using Angsana New, 16 point.

2. 10-minute brief documentary video production contest.

The substance focuses on preventing and resisting dishonesty, crookedness and corruption while encouraging children and youths to be truthful, honest, righteous, virtuous and supportive. The production must be based on the theoretical principles of making safe and creative media for children and youths that comprise promoting academic knowledge, knowledge required in daily life, stimulation of the thinking process of the brain and wisdom, the plural society, morality and ethics, and fostering good relationship in the family.

Contestants will be not more than 25 years old, VCD running time not more than 10 minutes, the work will be created by the children and youths themselves with teachers/lecturers or parents or media production experts as advisers. Leading roles must be played by children
and youths only, with no limit on the number of performers. Recording will be made on VCD only.

3. Singing contest: “Uncontaminated Breath” song with musical accompaniment

The contest is divided into 2 categories, namely below 18 years old and 18-25 years old in 2007. The lyric and melody will be only as given without any intentional addition, deletion or modification of lyric or melody even though such change may not be damaging to the song. The recording will be made on VCD only with no limit on the number of singers.
