Koh Global, has released the patent pending Koh Dustless Bag System that effectively prevents sensor dust on Digital SLR cameras. Finally, a system to prevent the nagging problems of sensor dust in the first place. The System features an 18 gauge clear polyvinyl bag with self-enclosing hand ports. Inside the bag, a HEPA air-filtering unit removes dust and other particulates to create a safe dust-free environment to exchange camera lenses. The versatile bag also functions as a rain cape.
The camera sensor is extremely sensitive and functions as the eye of the camera, any and all physical contact with the sensor should be avoided. Francis Koh, co-inventor of the system, believes that sensor swabbing or wiping to remove dust off sensors will be a thing of the past with the Koh Dustless Bag System.
