The award was presented earlier this week at the National Motorcycle Museum, West Midlands, by the Senior Vice President of Minuteman Press International George Holzmacher who had flown into the UK from New York to deliver the award personally.
The title of the award was ‘Top Achievement in Marketing’.
“It was a delight to present our annual award for marketing to Minuteman Press in Bristol, they have transformed the Bedminster print centre into something truly wonderful” George Holzmacher commented following the presentation.
“The Minuteman Press print centre is owned and managed by Peter Wise and Lucie Wise who clearly love working in Bristol and trading with West Country businesses” George Holzmacher added.
“This is such a shot in the arm for us! We are delighted to have won this award in only our second year of trading. What a total surprise!” Peter Wise commented.
“We have invested a massive amount of time in our business. It is so nice to be recognised” said Lucie Wise.
Minuteman Press has also been shortlisted in the Bristol Business Awards for the prestigious ‘Commitment to the Environment Award’ sponsored by Bristol City Council.
Peter and Lucie acquired Minuteman Press in September 2006. The business had operated for nine years previously and become a familiar sight in Bristol.
Peter and Lucie are no strangers to marketing. The couple are joint authors of the marketing plan text book ‘The Sound of Storensay’ which was published in early 2006.
