Celebration of Praise Gospel Festival, staged in partnership between Solid Rock Productions and the Ocean Grove Camp Meeting Association, will be held in Auditorium Park Square located in historic Ocean Grove, New Jersey on Saturday, September 27, 2008 from 12:00 – 9:00 PM. This FREE, multicultural, family friendly festival will celebrate expressions of gospel music from different cultures around the world and is the first of its kind to be staged in Monmouth County!
Celebration of Praise Gospel Festival will illustrate the unifying power and ability of Gospel music to cross all racial, demographic, and geographic boundaries by presenting artists from all over the world - such as the UK, Puerto Rico, Jamaica, and Haiti just to name a few - to share their expression of Gospel music in their own style– whether it be Kum-pa from Haiti, Gospel Soca from Trinidad, or Traditional Gospel from America.
But wait, there’s more! In addition to live music there will be choirs, praise and worship teams, dance teams, and a theatrical production written by Tiffany Gospel award winning playwright Kenneth G. Craddox! Rounding out the festivities will be a food court, vendor and community non-profit information booths, and a Children’s Pavilion complete with clowns and face painting!
The Spirit Station (106.3 FM and http://www.thespiritstation.com streaming worldwide), premiere Gospel radio station in Brooklyn, NY, will be broadcasting the festival live! "SK", Saturday night host of "The Caribbean Show" from 8:00-12:00 PM. will be on hand conducting artist and audience interviews throughout the festivities, and "DJ Disciple" Saturday morning host of "The Revival Experience" from 7:00 AM-12:00 PM, will be providing the musical entertainment throughout the festivities!
