The article describes Lauren’s motivation for creating YoKidsYo.com, a website providing numerous controls for parents to keep their kids safe on the Internet. As Lauren’s kids started gaining interest in the Internet, email and online chatting, she took matters into her own hands. With input from other concerned parents, law enforcement and educators Lauren put together a development team to build YoKidsYo.com. In the article Lauren also provides numerous tips on how to keep pre-teen kids safe online.

YoKidsYo.com was created by parents with one goal in mind, the safety of children online. Parents are given access to the tools they need to keep their kids safer. The mission is to allow children to explore, learn and benefit from the internet in a safe and secure environment.
