Jan 27, 2008 – Chicago, IL – Carla Person, shamanic healer and animal communicator, will lead a three-day workshop
Sacred Animal Mask: Unmasking Your Personal Power that explores the spiral labyrinth and introduces students to their Power Animal.
Hosted by the Animal Spirit Healing and Education Network, the workshop will guide students in connecting with their Power Animal, and then creating a mask in their honor with the help of Sue DeLamater of the Free Arts of Arizona. During a sacred ceremony, the students will wear the mask allowing them to merge with their Power Animal while walking the spiral labyrinth.
“The mask becomes your portal to go deep into the spirit’s womb, working in a sacred spiral that brings us to the beginning of creation,” said Carla Person. “Students will emerge remade, interconnected with the power of their Animal Tribe, walking strongly and clearly on their sacred path.”
“This workshop is ideal for working with the parts of yourself that you really want to change, to shift, to break down and remake, but have been resistant to change so far,” said Person. “Some students may work through a core wound from childhood, another releasing an entrenched habit, while someone else may learn to see things a new way.”
