Jan 26, 2008 – Lochaber Local is a new free business directory designed to assist area residents in locating nearby businesses, and to facilitate area businesses in their web promotion efforts.
Lochaber Local aims to become the leading directory of Fort William area businesses, surpassing Yell, Thompson and others by restricting listings to just those businesses which serve the Lochaber region. Initially there are already hundreds of businesses listed in just over 100 categories, neatly organising the local businesses by the type of work. Future plans include the addition of a built-in search feature, maps, directions and more.
Basic business listings are free to all area businesses, large and small, and include the business name, address, city, and postal code. Expanded 'Premium' listings which include a detailed description, plus web hyperlinks, are available, as well as category banner and text advertisements for a nominal fee.
All businesses based in, or serving predominantly, the Lochaber area are encouraged to submit their free business listings today.
