Philanthro Productions today announced Komen Race for the Cure® as its first charity partner of the new year. Philanthro Productions will host PINK: Party for the Cure, a charity benefit and pre-registration event for the 12th Annual Los Angeles Komen Race for the Cure, at Level 3 in the Hollywood & Highland Center on Friday, February 8th.
With PINK, the Philanthro team will build on its tremendous past success, having donated over $16,000 in event proceeds to partner charities, including The Elizabeth Glaser Pediatric AIDS Foundation, Invisible Children and Camp Heartland.
During the benefit party, attendees can sign up for the Los Angeles Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure. Philanthro will co-host a race team with volunteer effort partner The Hopscotch Network, providing a platform for further charitable involvement for event patrons. The event will also feature a special guest speaker to educate party-goers on Komen Race for the Cure®’s efforts to combat breast cancer. Following rave reviews at past events, DJ Tony Collage of Power 106 FM will once again headline the night. PINK’s festivities begin at 9pm; patrons 21+ only.
