One of the most well known types of visas is the F1 visa.  This visa is for students who travel to the United States to attend a school for academic training.  While there are many students who travel to the United States alone to obtain their education, others bring a dependant with them.  The visa that is required for dependants to gain entry into the country is the F2 visa.
