ALTAMONTE SPRINGS, Fla. --- Mercantile Commercial Capital, LLC, which ranks as one of the region’s most active providers of U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) 504 loans for small business owners who want to acquire or develop their own facilities, reported it closed on 48 commercial loans for projects totaling of $102 million in 2007.
Christopher G. Hurn, president and chief executive officer of Mercantile Commercial Capital, said lending activity in 2007 is up more than 23 percent over 2006. In 2007, Mercantile Commercial Capital closed on commercial loans in 17 different states, Hurn added.
"Altogether the loans helped to create 765 new jobs," Hurn said.
