Shumoo, an online shop which specialises in ballerina flat shoes has gone from strength to strength since its launch in December 2007. Shumoo, which was founded in Singapore by a brit, has been very popular amongst the expats. It is due for launch in UK boutiques imminently, with the US in mind in the coming year.
Melissa Eaton, founder of Shumoo commented: “Being tall, I have always worn flat shoes; when I first started work it was difficult to find smart, fashionable flats that I could afford. With the population getting taller and taller there is a huge demand for flat shoes and in particular those that come in larger sizes; so I’m really delighted to offer people such a product!”
Shumoo will be exhibiting collections across London fairs this year and is currently working on expanding Shumoo’s reach in Singapore.
The spring collection will be launched in April 2008.
