Virginia Judge Bans Fourteen-Year-Old Boy From That State For Life

A Virginia Beach Judge forever banned a fourteen-year-old youth from her state before releasing him into the custody of his parents who came to pick him up. The young boy had run away from home again, this time passing himself off as a lifeguard for summer vacation. After a short time on the job, an armed with a new identity and some travelers checks, he left the beach driving a Volkswagen Dune Buggy that reports say was only suppose to be a one-hour rental. Police began a 3 state search for the teen before stopping him in Washington DC while driving down Pennsylvania Avenue at two in the morning with no headlights on.

Shortly before his arrest, Annapolis Maryland police had him pulled over for speeding. But, the youth talked his way out of a ticket by allowing the officer to test drive the beach buggy up and down a few brick laden streets in that city. It wasn’t until later the same day that the patrolman learned the vehicle was stolen. In the end, all charges were dropped and the Virginia Judge ordered the teen banned from her state for life.

The juvenile was Jack Swint, and the date was July of 1969. This is just a small excerpt from a new book out titled “Creative Impulse…True memoirs Of A Terrible Son.” Now 53 years, old Swint offers his tell all story to expose his own life mistakes in hopes of maybe helping other teens who also suffer from the same type of impulsive disorders as he did.  While in a federal prison in 1997 for counterfeiting, Swint was diagnosed with both an impulsive behavior and borderline personality disorder. With treatment, Jack Swint managed to turn his life around. Over the past ten years he has been speaking out to parents, doctors and the courts as to the effects of these type disorders if gone undetected. “I can not go back and change all of the things I did wrong. I hope using my own mistakes and destructive behavior as an example can help someone else.”

He says the details in this book are “brutally honest.” If that is true, this story will cause some controversy throughout the country from politicians, celebrities, government agencies, law enforcement and even the hells angels motorcycle gang who all crossed paths with Jack Swint and came away from their encounters with bad memories.
