Jan 17, 2008 – Shumoo, an online shop which specialises in ballerina flat shoes from UK size 3 up to size 8 ½ is a feature that has gone down very well in Singapore, where larger shoe sizes are notoriously difficult to track down. Shumoo, which was founded in Singapore was launched in November 2007.
Melissa Eaton, founder of Shumoo commented: “As Singapore expats will know, finding shoes in larger sizes can be a difficult task; size 6.5 tends to be the biggest size you will find out here. Shumoo was born out of the frustration at not finding any shoes to fit me, so I’m delighted to be able to offer fellow expats a chance to buy fashionable shoes in their size!’
Melissa will be exhibiting her new collection at fairs across Singapore this year and is currently working on expanding Shumoo’s reach into the US and UK, where shoes will soon be stocked in several London boutiques.
The Spring collection will be launched in April 2008.
Shumoo is currently based in Singapore with an office opening in London next year. Specialising in ladies ballerina flat shoes, designs are made in leather, suede, patent and satin with sizes available from UK 3 / Eur 36 to 8.5 / 43. Size 9 /44 will be available with the spring collection which has a classical yet fun and vibrant feel in light coloured shades with feminine bows.
