Prior to joining Daszkal Bolton, Ackerman started her career in public accounting at a CPA firm in West Palm Beach, where she stayed for over ten years. She has experience in representing clients before the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) and state taxing authorities, as well as handling complex federal and state tax matters.
Ackerman received her degree at the University of Hartford in Connecticut where she majored in Biology and Psychology. She is a member of the American and Florida Institutes of Certified Public Accountants and the Business & Professional Division of the Jewish Federation of Palm Beach County.
Prior to joining Daszkal Bolton, Kathryn Salvia owned her own accounting firm, and her husband James served in the family business as the Controller and as a Tax Consultant. The Salvias focused primarily on small, family-owned businesses in the community, but also worked with several large corporations, for which they provided extensive tax and accounting services.
K. Salvia holds a Masters of Accounting degree, a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting and a Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing.
J. Salvia holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting and a Bachelor of Arts degree in History.
