Sydney - Deep Grey Labs today released tiinker.com, an intelligent news aggregator that learns the interests of individual users and selects stories tailored to to each individual. tiinker selects articles by analysing articles as they are published around the world and matching these to each user's interests.
Users no longer need to sift through piles of content to find stories that interest them. tiinker improves on applications based on centralised editing or social recommendation, since it learns each individual's interests. It is free from assumptions that everyone has the same interests or shares interests with a broad group.
"People waste far too much time filtering out uninteresting and irrelevant information. In this age of instantaneous publishing and an ever-growing media computers should be able to do the filtering for us. tiinker makes this possible," said Oleg Sushkov,
co-founder of Deep Grey Labs.
tiinker has exited a successful private beta stage and its advantages are now available to the public.
