Jan 16, 2008 – In-house Counsel for Feuring: Dr. Frank Peter Ohler is new Legal Counsel for the hotel development group

The international hotel development and consulting group Feuring in Mainz, Germany has taken on board an in-house counsel. On 1 December 2007, Dr. Frank Peter Ohler (36) moved from the Frankfurt offices of GSK Stockmann & Kollegen on the river Main to the Rhine where he will fill the newly created position as Legal Counsel for the Feuring group.
Matthias Lowin, Managing Director of Feuring Hotelconsulting GmbH, commented: „We have known Dr. Ohler for years due to the various projects we have worked on together. As a result of our strong expansion we have come to the conviction that we need an in-house legal advisor. We are very pleased to have been able to win over Dr. Ohler to our company.
Dr. Ohler worked in the field of Real Estate and Private Building Laws at GSK Stockmann & Kollegen from 2002 onwards. At GSK, he was primarily responsible for providing the legal services and taking care of lawsuits for large building projects. Dr. Ohler started his career as a counsel in the year 2000 at Gleiss Lutz.
Feuring – Visionary Hotel Development – develops four to five star hotels, for example the Steigenberger Hotel de Saxe which opened its doors in the spring of 2006 and is located at the Neumarkt in Dresden opposite the famous Frauenkirche. The development and consulting company - which operates on an international scale - was established in 1959 and can look back on experience gained from more than 400 international hotel projects. In Europe, Feuring – Visionary Hotel Development – is known for its role as consultants and developers of the Le Méridien hotels in Hamburg, Munich and Vienna, which are all very successful. In July 2007, Feuring Group and the real estate company Vivico founded a joint venture called Viador GmbH. The first projects Viador will tackle are possible hotel projects in the Lehrter Stadtquartier in Berlin and in the Europaviertel in Frankfurt/Main.
