About Lowell Gates - Lowell Gates, candidate as a Republican for Pennsylvania State Representative 88th District, was born and raised in Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania. Lowell graduated from Mechanicsburg High School, Dickinson College in Carlisle, Pennsylvania and Whittier Law School. He also has a Master of Law degree in Taxation from New York University. He founded the law firm: Gates, Halbruner and Hatch, P.C. He founded Community Trust Company in 1993 and sits on the Board of Directors of Integrity Bank. Lowell Gates is an advocate of good government, but stands firm against bloated bureaucracies and ever expanding demands on already overburdened taxpayers.
