Sunflower Farmers Market is proud to host world-renowned author and medical expert Dr. Michael Murray for four exciting FREE consumer lectures February 4th & 5th at all Sunflower locations in Denver and Fort Collins, Colorado. Dr. Murray will discuss his newly released book, Hunger Free Forever, which teaches eating strategies to help gain appetite control and make lifelong adjustments to eating habits.
Over the past twenty years, Dr. Michael Murray’s extensive knowledge in natural medicine has turned him into the go-to source for achieving optimal health through the healing power of nature. His reputation precedes him; as the co-author of A Textbook of Natural Medicine and the Encyclopedia of Natural Medicine, Dr. Murray has authored over twenty books including Dr. Murray’s Total Body Tune-Up and The Pill Book Guide to Natural Medicines.
Dr. Murray is known for his ability to make learning about nutrition fascinating, with historical tidbits and discoveries from the laboratory. He makes practicing nutrition easy and enjoyable, with tips on selecting, storing, and preparing all kinds of healthful foods, plus quick, inventive, and delicious recipes. Two presentations will be held on Monday, February 4. The first will take place at 2 p.m. at the Sunflower Farmers Market Denver location at 2880 S. Colorado Blvd. while the second will be held at 7 p.m. at the Highlands Ranch location.
A second pair of presentations will be held on Wednesday, February 5. The first will take place at 11 a.m. at the Sunflower Farmers Market Fort Collins location, while the second will take place at the second Denver location, 4700 W. 38th Ave, at 6 p.m.
In addition to his status as graduate, faculty member and Board of Regents member for Bastyr University, Dr. Murray is the Director of Product Development and Education for Natural Factors, a major manufacturer of nutritional and herbal supplements.
