Entrac Technologies Adopts SharePoint 2007 as its Enterprise Portal

Toronto, Ontario, Canada –  SharePointHQ®, a leading provider of training, professional services, hosting, web parts and solutions for Microsoft® SharePoint® Products and Technologies, announced today that it has implemented  Microsoft Office SharePoint Server 2007(MOSS 2007) for Entrac Technologies.

After evaluating several potential vendors within the Toronto IT marketplace, Entrac chose SharePointHQ to perform the implementation of SharePoint 2007 as its corporate Intranet.  The SharePoint 2007 based corporate portal was fully configured to take advantage of SharePoint 2007’s Collaboration feature group.  The SharePoint 2007 portal delivers to Entrac a secure, centralized portal, with advanced document collaboration features, accessible to Entrac end users through a single point of access.  Collaboration among Entrac’s end users, teams and departments is further enhanced by SharePoint 2007’s Web 2.0 functionality.   Access to Excel 2007 spreadsheets stored within Entrac’s Intranet was enabled through SharePoint 2007’s Excel Services.
