Focus Enhancements and Macally to Demonstrate Wireless USB at Macworld 2008

- Focus Enhancements’ UWB Wireless will be the Enabling Technology -

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

PRLog (Press Release)Jan 15, 2008 – Campbell, Calif. — Focus Enhancements, Inc. (NASDAQ: FCSE), a worldwide leader in Ultra Wideband (UWB) wireless technology, is partnering with Macally to deliver wireless USB for disk storage, which will be demonstrated at Macworld in San Francisco, January 15th to the 18th, at the Moscone Center, booth 926 in the South Hall.

Macally produces accessories for MP3 Players, input devices, mobile accessories and disk drive enclosures. Macally is a leading supplier of accessories for Apple products, including the iPhone and iPod.

“More and more portable electronic devices are media oriented,” said Mike Chen from Macally’s peripheral group. “Users want to carry large amounts of pictures, music and video around with them and are increasingly using portable storage to do so. We find connecting to these storage devices wirelessly is much more desirable than remembering to carry a cable. That’s why we are working with Focus Enhancements to develop wireless disk technology.”

“UWB technology is ideally suited to moving large amounts of media files from one place to another,” said Mark Zadeh, vice president of sales for Focus Enhancements’ semiconductor group. “We are excited to be working with Macally to enable its storage devices to work wirelessly. This expands upon the positive response we received at 2008 International CES last week for our wireless USB technology, which has been incorporated into hub and dongles and is being incorporated into reference designs for advanced media devices.”
