Primarily made for the harsh factory floor environments, the 1700FX features a stainless steel enclosure, sealed I/O ports, and self-contained cooling technology to prevent leaks and keep out dust where liquids, humidity, and extreme temperatures, and caustic wash-downs are daily. The rugged NEMA 4X system is capable of being washed down to meet FSIS requirements.

The EnduraTouch ™ 1700FX uses low power, high performance Intel Mobile processing technology and can be configured as either a thin client terminal or a powerful workstation. Storage options include several solid-state flash and hard drives. Supported operating systems include Windows XP, Embedded XP, Windows CE and Linux. Optional features include touch screen, wireless networking, and PCI expansion.
