It may be constantly at the forefront of your mind, but how committed are you to really discovering a healthy way of life through fitness and nutrition? This year it’s not about making New Year’s resolutions you can’t keep, it’s about creating a program that can be carried out all year long to help you change your body inside AND out.
On January 18, nationally-recognized wellness expert and doctor of naturopathic medicine, Dr. Catherine Wilbert will host two seminars at Sunflower Farmers Markets. The first will be held from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. at the Broadway Boulevard location, while the second seminar will be held from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. at the Speedway Boulevard location. Both seminars are free of charge.
Recently, the fast-growing farmer’s market-style grocery retailer announced $30 million in investment funding from PCG Capital Partners. The chain, which features all fresh and natural products, holds regular talks and seminars to give its customers the tools for healthy living.
Dr. Wilbert will enlighten audiences regarding what they can do to have more energy, live with vitality and keep off the pounds. She will also teach audiences how to read and decipher tricky food labels and recognize false claims. Dr. Wilbert will also talk about dining out, recipe makeovers and maximizing your exercise program.
A question and answer session will follow the seminar allowing audience questions on weight management, detox, digestion, effective supplementation, menopause and more.
In Dr. Wilbert’s own words, “Success is not so much dependent on making complicated lifestyle changes, but finding the small changes that actually fit your lifestyle.” This philosophy is one that everyone can relate to and take seriously.
Her commitment and enthusiasm for fitness is unmatched – she holds a dozen body-building titles, including three national championships, and is also the founder of two nutritional companies.
Utilizing her background as a certified nutritionist and doctor of naturopathy, Dr. Wilbert founded PhytoCeutical Formulations, which formulates superior quality products that provide all natural ingredients in amounts that produce results.
She is also the owner of Vitality Juice, Java and Smoothie Bar, a growing group of retail nutritional supplement stores offering nutrition, health and wellness education services.
