NaviSite is proud to continue relationship with the NYSDOL and to provide ongoing development, hosting and support services for AOSOS

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

PRLog (Press Release) - Jan 14, 2008 -
ANDOVER, Mass., — NaviSite, Inc. (NASDAQ: NAVI), a leading provider of application management and hosting solutions, today announced that the New York State Department of Labor (NYSDOL) has renewed its contract with NaviSite to provide application management services  for America’s One-Stop Operating System (AOSOS).

AOSOS is a unique, web-based job matching, case management and reporting system designed to help states and Workforce Investment Boards manage their One-Stop Career Centers established through the Workforce Investment Act.  After partnering with NaviSite in 1998 to develop AOSOS under a grant from the U.S. Department of Labor, Employment and Training Administration, the NYSDOL chose to extend its commitment based on NaviSite’s expertise in application management along with case management, web-based development and hosting, and ability to quickly adapt the AOSOS system to evolving compliance and reporting needs.

“NaviSite is proud to continue our relationship with the NYSDOL and to provide ongoing development, hosting and support services for AOSOS,” said Denis Martin, Executive Vice President and Chief Technology Officer at NaviSite. “NaviSite has extensive experience in the application development and managed hosting of AOSOS, including our deep knowledge of the compliance requirements that drive AOSOS. Our unique, end-to-end perspective gives us valuable insight into the comprehensive role AOSOS fulfills and a front-row view of the evolving requirements NaviSite is dedicated to addressing.”

AOSOS is a highly customizable, user-friendly and cost-effective One-Stop management information system that enables workforce professionals to effectively manage federal, state and local employment, training and workforce development programs.  Its flexible and scalable design allows states to choose which features to implement and its open architecture enables seamless integration with other state and local systems.  AOSOS was designed around the principles of universality, customer choice, service integration and performance-driven outcomes.  It is currently used by Kentucky, Nevada, New Jersey, New York, Rhode Island and the Virgin Islands.  For more information regarding AOSOS or to arrange a demonstration, please visit: www.ososinfo.org or email ososinfo@ososinfo.org.
