Jan 12, 2008 – Everyday we open the paper we read about foreclosures and the ever soaring housing market, it seems people have no choice anymore but to fix their homes themselves as there are no buyers. Robby Gore saw this coming 2 years now and in response he started building a home improvement website to teach the average homeowner like himself how they can fix or build any item in their home in a step by step format.
The site launched last week and was well received by the public although there have been a few criticisms from builders and other skilled personnel who felt their trade could be affected as more and more people realize the simplicity with which they could perform tasks they would normally pay huge amounts for. But as Robby says “it is time for us all to give back and help our brothers and sisters who are suffering in this time of escalating costs and prices”.
So whether you want to replace the faucet in your bathroom, change the tiles in your garage or replace some wood shingles you can do it yourself. Of course Robby recognizes there are persons who will never find the time to be able to do these things themselves and so he offers “free estimates” for any job that you might have.
Homeowners are sure to find this site to be like a godsend in these pre-recession times or are we there yet? This is definitely a site one can reference for anything related to the home be it interior decorating ideas or creating a lawn that will leave your neighbours green with envy.
