There were four main criteria that each site was judged on:
• Wow! Factor’, this measured how original, quirky, creative, interesting and inspirational the content of each site was
• Functionality, i.e. whether the site was fully working, with no broken links
• Design and how easy they were to use and navigate
• Relevance to the British people
