WCPE Preview! Features Soprano Talise Trevigne
Interview to Air Sunday, January 13

WAKE FOREST, N.C.—TheClassicalStation.org announces today that it’s weekly program, Preview!, will feature an interview with soprano Talise Trevigne. The interview will air during the station’s Sunday, January 13 program that runs from 6-9 p.m.

Highlighting the discussion will be Trevigne’s upcoming lead performance as Lucia in The Opera Company of North Carolina’s rendition of Gaetano Donizetti’s “Lucia di Lammermoor.” Performances will run January 17, 19 and 20 in the Fletcher Opera Theatre in Raleigh, N.C.

“Talise Trevigne is acclaimed for the magnificent beauty of her voice, and for how she captivates audiences with her stunning presence,” says Deana Vassar, Preview! host. “She's definitely a star to watch, we're thrilled that she's coming to town.”

Trevigne has received international praise for her performances with the Birmingham Opera (UK), the Almeida Opera in London, Opera San José and at the Caramoor International Festival. In addition, Trevigne has been a featured soloist at numerous benefits including those for The San Francisco Aids Foundation, The Names Project and the September 11 Memorial Concert.

Preview! is a weekly feature that airs every Sunday evening from 6 p.m.–9 p.m. ET and presents the latest in classical recordings and upcoming classical events. About Talise Trevigne:
Talise Trevigne is a singer noted for the "sheer beauty of her voice" and "exquisite stage presence." She has collaborated with many acclaimed artists including Marilyn Home, James Morris, Warren Jones, and Roger Vignoles. Ms. Trevigne made her operatic début under the direction of Maestro Julius Rudel in La Traviata and Don Giovanni in Aspen. She has performed principal roles in Purcell's Dido and Aeneas, Les Malheurs D'Orphée, Nerea in Händel's Deidamia, Norina in Don Pasquale, Constance in Les Dialogues des Carmélites, Miranda in The Tempest, and Sophie in Der Rosenkavalier.
