A New Printing Service for College Students That Really Delivers!

Printmynotes.com: Amazingly Simple Online Printing Service for Student Coursework Makes It Easy to Get Low Cost Printing Delivered to the Dorm, Takes the Sting Out of High Page-Count Printing from Course Management Systems (CMS).

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

PR Log (Press Release)Jan 08, 2008 – Printmynotes.com (http://www.printmynotes.com), an online printing service, opened for business today.

Printmynotes.com is designed to allow students to conveniently print large coursework files at a price cheaper than Kinko’s.

Students today find themselves assigned to study high page-count documents provided digitally by their instructors via course management systems (CMS) like Blackboard, Moodle, and Angel.

For students who want to study their documents from a paper format, printing is a necessity.

With Printmynotes.com, students upload their .doc & .pdf’s and automatically receive one printed copy of the file or files. The prints are neatly organized with a table of contents, separated with section dividers, and pre-punched for use in a standard 3-ring binder. The cost is just 3¢ per page, plus $3.99 and Shipping & Handling. Multiple files can be sent at once, so a student can combine all of the printing they need for a semester for one hassle-free low price.

For example, a student using Printmynotes.com with 700 pages of coursework to print would pay under $27 using this service, plus shipping. Ground delivery takes about a week by Fedex and is as low as $6 depending on your location. The total would be about $33 with shipping.  Using Kinko’s, this same job would cost $55 with shipping.  That’s a 60% savings.

Matt Vidic, creator of Printmynotes.com said “I developed this site to give students an easy low cost option for high page-count printing.  Students today have few reasonable choices when faced with lots of printing for class. If they can’t do it themselves on their own personal equipment, they are stuck waiting at the computer lab or copy center and still paying a lot. The Printmynotes.com website gives students another affordable and convenient option.”

During our launch, Printmynotes.com is currently limited to specific colleges & universities.

Students from the following campuses can use Printmynotes.com: (New campuses can be added based on requests from students via the Printmynotes.com website.)

Hampshire College, U Mass, Brown, Smith, Johns Hopkins, Amherst, Mt. Holyoke, RISD, Bates, Swarthmore, Tulane, American International, UCSB, Duke, Maine, Wilkes, Pittsburgh, Wisconsin- Madison, Indiana- Bloomington, Iowa, North Carolina- Chapel Hill, North Carolina State, Loyola, Mt. Aloysius, Lock Haven, Juniata, Robert Morris, Carnegie Mellon, Duquesne.
