Author Kevin M. Weeks Reinvests Book Publishing Royalties to Trademark "The Street Life Series."

PR Log (Press Release) – Jan 08, 2008 – Atlanta, GA -- The Street Life Series is a collection of crime fiction novels, which chronicle the action packed life adventures of main character Teco Jackson. African American Author Kevin M. Weeks made a conscience decision after the release of his debut novel in September 2006 to reinvest his book publishing royalties in order to trademark his book series named "The Street Life Series.”  Future projects include a youth edition of the series, magazines, and entertainment film.  

Other examples of trademarks for a literary series are Harry Potter® by J. K. Rowling and Chicken Soup for the Soul® by Jack Canfield and Mark Victor Hansen.  In an article titled "The Value of Trademarks to the Literary Entrepreneur," Tonya M.
