Stanley Dentistry
KIAWAH ISLAND, SOUTH CAROLINA – Drs. Robert and Bobbi Stanley completed their first full-marathon by finishing the 30th Annual Kiawah Island Marathon on December 8, 2007. The Stanleys competed with 866 other participants in the event, sanctioned by the USATF and listed as a qualifier for the Boston Marathon.
“We've run several half-marathons, but this was the first time we took on the challenge of a full 26.2 mile race,” said Dr. Stanley. “It was a great thrill, especially considering that we were able to complete the event together.”
Robert, who will join the Stanley Dentistry practice in May 2008, agreed, “The location is beautiful and the weather was perfect. It was not only a very satisfying accomplishment, but a real honor to compete in such a prestigious race.”
Dr. Bobbi Stanley has been voted as America's Top Dentist as well as several local awards for Best Cosmetic Dentist. When not practicing dentistry, both doctors enjoy family time with their four children.
