US CRO Clinsys Clinical Research (Bedminster, New Jersey) and its French counterpart ITEC Services (Cenon, Bordeaux) have entered into a strategic alliance agreement. The alliance will enable Clinsys to extend its global clinical operations and consulting services in Europe and North Africa, while allowing ITEC to expand in the US, India and Western Europe.
Established in 1984, ITEC specialises in Phase I - IV research in oncology, central nervous system, respiratory, endocrinology, urology, gynaecology, paediatrics and ophthalmology. It has an affiliate in Casablanca, Morocco. “We believe our alliance with Clinsys will enable us to broaden our global customer base and speed up multinational studies for pharmaceutical companies in Europe seeking overseas development,”
Clinsys focuses on Phase I - IV trials in oncology, cardiovascular, central nervous system, dermatology, respiratory, and allergy/immunology. In addition to its New Jersey headquarters, the company has operations in Raleigh, North Carolina; Philadelphia, Pennsylvania;
“This alliance with ITEC augments our ongoing efforts to strengthen operations throughout Europe,” said Clinsys CEO David E Williams. “Combining ITEC’s geographical territories with Clinsys’s global operations is a natural fit. Over the past five years, ITEC has steadily built its late-stage business, complementing Clinsys’s earlier stage focus.” Article submitted by www.jobs4dd.com - latest news and jobs in the clinical research industry.
