Persistent Systems sets up a Center of Excellence for IBM Rational products


Pune, India – Jan 03, 2008 - Persistent  Systems Ltd.,  one  of  the  leading  outsourced  software  product  development  (“OPD”)  specialists,  offering  customers the benefits of offshore delivery, recently came together with IBM, to set up a Center of Excellence (CoE) for IBM Rational products. The CoE will help Persistent to build a virtual community of developers, support teams and service personnel who specialize in supporting IBM products to share ideas, solutions and resources.



The CoE at Persistent facility was inaugurated by Sriram Rajan – Vice President, IBM Software Group, IBM India Pvt Ltd., Dr. Srikanth Sundararajan, COO, Persistent Systems.



Commenting on this event Dr. Srikanth Sundararajan said that “The CoE is a step forward to deliver innovative new solutions to our customers and prospects; Persistent is very excited by the synergy arising from this partnership, which delivers a compelling value proposition to Persistent customers. This initiative is a completely new way of organizing our infrastructure and our goal is to equip and benefit our employees to develop world class products".

Persistent employees were also felicitated in this function and were given a certificate for their successful completion of the IBM Rational software training program.
