Whip Hand announced today that it has launched a beta test of its new video advertising technology.
The new web based service shows thirty-second clips, which are displayed full screen. The company promises to monetarily compensate its members in exchange for viewing advertisements.
"Before Whip Hand people had to create videos with a viral appeal. We simply offer the opportunity to purchase guaranteed exposure," said Jacquelyn Haley, CEO of Whip Hand. Haley claims that users must view an ad in order to interact with it, ensuring that it will be seen.
According to the company’s website, advertisers set their own price, and decide how much compensation to offer viewers. The viewers of the advertisements then, in turn, decide how much their time is worth.
