The ICE Marketing Group http://www.marketingice.com which provides the highly successful “Marketing ICE” training on Search Engine Optimization and all aspects of Internet Marketing today formally announced a change in their ownership and management structure.
Under the terms of the agreement Jack Spirko (Managing Partner and CEO) along with Mark Barrera (Chief Marketing Officer) have purchased 100% of the portion of the company formerly owned by Benjamin Fitts (formerly the company’s Chief Technical Officer). This agreement places full control of the company and all of its’ assets under the ownership of Mr. Spirko and Mr. Barrera.
Under the terms of the agreement Mr. Spirko will remain the companies CEO and Managing Partner and Mr. Barrera will remain the companies CTO. Mr. Fitts has agreed to provide limited technical support during a 6 month period as needed to help with some changes to the sites platform and migration to a new server. The company reports that current customers will experience no loss in service or changes to their memberships due to the agreement.
Mr. Spirko stated in regard to the agreement, “I have enjoyed working with Ben a great deal and can state we could have never gotten Marketing ICE to where it is today with out his assistance. We are grateful for his contributions and wish him well in his new pursuits and look forward to a continued relationship as strategic partners.”
Mr. Fitts also has a very positive outlook on the arrangement stating, “I really enjoyed helping to create Marketing ICE and working with Jack and Mark. At this time though I really want to pursue some other business opportunities and free up my former partners to take the company in a direction consistent with their vision”.
According to Mr. Spirko this arrangement will allow for more partnership with his Internet Marketing Consultancy firm Franklin Spirko http://www.franklinspirko.com and a renewed commitment to the customers. Mr. Spirko went on to say, “We have been slow in producing new videos due to a variety of back end issues and with this new arrangement that is going to change quickly. We also have plans to do some more free videos for our trial members and open up our private forum to anyone that wants to participate along with new features on the company website.”
