Atlanta, GA- Much has been written about family. Any number of films and television programs have been made and books written covering the topic. Happy families (The Brady Bunch), dysfunctional families (The Royal Tennenbaums)
A new book just released this month by AuthorHouse™
The author, M. Anderson Edwards is the mother of four adult children. She is a American women of Ethiopian descent, whose family history was preserved through storytelling by its strong and determined female members. The book is entitled, “And They Laughed Like A Rooster” and is part history and part imagination. “No one is dealt a good card all of the time! In those days, we didn‘t have TV shows like ‘Father Knows Best‘ or ‘Father Of The Bride‘ ” says Edwards from her home in Stone Mountain, GA. She goes on to say, “my story is about a family with a no good father and a dead mother! But the 2 children in the family did have their Aunts who took turns caring for them.” That’s were this story begins. A story that depicts a poignant message after all is said and done. And that message is, in the words of the author, “just goes to show you, nothing is impossible.”
