The website was designed and built by local artist and website designer, Eric Peterson (http://EricPetersonGalleries.com ).
ComeHomeRentals.com will provide an Internet portal for landlords and property managers to advertise their rental properties free of charge. Rental listings include complete descriptions, photos, maps, and links to neighborhood and school information, making it a compelling place for renters to locate their next home. ComeHome2Minnesota Realty doesn’t ask for a contract or charge a fee for placing an ad or renting properties listed on the site. The only requirements of landlords are that they offer a discount to the renters on their first month’s rent, and that they keep their listings current. ComeHomeRentals.com visitors can freely browse listings complete with descriptions and photos. A small subscription (which is more than offset by the discount on the first month’s rent) is required to gain access to exact addresses and landlord/property manager contact information.
Eric and Karla Peterson, brokers for ComeHome2Minnesota Realty have been dealing with a lot of properties over the past years that are in some stage of foreclosure. With the number of people losing their homes, and increasing cost of advertising rental properties and filling vacancies, Eric and Karla did some brainstorming to come up with the ComeHomeRentals.com concept as a solution.
