Douglas Turgeon, M.D. and
Brian Straus, M.D. http://www.txsportsmed.com/
drstraus.php have joined the group. Dr. Turgeon is a General Orthopaedic Surgeon with special expertise in Knee and Hip Joint replacement. Dr. Straus is a Foot and Ankle Specialist who has extensive experience in all types of Foot and Ankle Reconstruction Surgery. Texas Sports Medicine and Orthopaedic Group is a nationally known Orthopedic Surgery clinic in Dallas, Texas.
Dr. Straus is an Orthopaedic Surgeon, fellowship trained in lower extremity surgery (knee, foot and ankle). He attended Texas A&M University on full academic scholarship including the President's Endowed Scholarship and James B. Watson Memorial Scholarship attributed in part to his status as a National Merit Finalist. Dr. Straus graduated from Texas A&M with Magna Cum Laude Honors. He completed medical school in Dallas at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School, followed by orthopaedic surgery residency in Charleston, SC. His fellowship in lower extremity surgery was performed in Houston, TX where he was involved in coverage of the Houston Rockets NBA team and Rice University Athletics.
