PRLog (Press Release) - Dec 20, 2007 -
The festive spirit was alive and well at Wyboston Lakes on Sunday when generations of families gathered for the annual Christmas Brunch.  From 11 am to 4 pm, more than 140 adults and children enjoyed mouth-watering cuisine in a wonderful family Christmas atmosphere

Guests were allocated their own table for the duration of the event, so they were free to come and go as they pleased.  This meant that the whole family could eat as much as they wanted at their own pace and really enjoy the occasion.

Twenty carol singers’ heralded Father Christmas’s arrival and every child, from 6 weeks old to 15 years received a special present.  Mums and dads weren’t forgotten either and were delighted to receive Panetonne cakes.

A wide selection of breakfast, lunch and afternoon tea options were available ranging from a traditional breakfast through to a Sunday roast and speciality dishes, including the very popular stir-fry buffet, which were prepared by Wyboston Lakes’ award-winning international chefs.

The chocolate fountain and crepes buffet were a definite hit with adults and children alike, and for those who were looking for a more traditional end to their meal, the individual Christmas puddings provided the perfect finishing touch to the event.

Mrs Liz Cooper who was at Wyboston Lakes with 14 family members said “It was a lovely day and a real family occasion.  The children loved Father Christmas and we all enjoyed the carol singing.  The food was excellent, but the best thing of all was that I could really enjoy the day without having to do anything!”
