Saturday Afternoon Aimee Linde appeared at Hastings Book Store in Kennewick, WA, for her first book signing.  She happily reported that every book was signed before she left at 6 pm.  Things went so well she was invited back for this Friday December 21st from 5-7PM.

"It was my first Book signing so I didn't know what to expect.  Needless to say I was happily surprised so see so many smiling faces.  It was a great joy to share my work with others and I'm excited to do it again so soon," said Aimee when we talked to her later that night.

Her book KobiKobis Island is an epic fantasy novel written for Young Adults age 8-17, though many adults that have read it, are raving about how exciting and fun it was to read.

"The cover of the book was so beautiful it caught my eye immediately.  After reading the synopsis I just had to read it.  I loved this book so much! It was full of excitement and Adventure. As a mother of 3, the youngest being 6 months old, I don't get a lot of free time. Because of this, I don't like to waste the precious little free time that I do get. This book was a tasty little morsel of "me-time" that I needed very much. Once I picked it up, I just couldn’t put KobiKobis Island down. Now I am looking forward to the next book in the series," Said Michelle Rasmussen from Taylorsville, Utah.

Crystal Crowther from Murray, Utah had this to say, "KobiKobis Island was highly entertaining. This book definitely kept my attention I couldn't wait to see what would happen next. I'm not much for fantasy books but this is a book that I would read over and over again."

"KobiKobis Island is a great book and kept my attention really well.  I really like fantasy books like Harry Potter and Fablehaven, but KobiKobis Island is one of the best books I've read and I recommend it to anyone that loves Fantasy," replied Gabe Jolly from Ferndale, Washington.

Chriss Hill from Temple, Texas had this to say, "On KobiKobis Island, the Journey Begins, I was indeed taken away on a magical journey with Teag and his family after a shipwreck lands them upon an invisible floating island. All he wants to do is save his parents from danger, with the help of great characters like Maddox, the Lion man, and Nyla, the dragon. As I read along, I got to forge through Orange Dragon fields to reach safety from scary Spitniker Dorgoggins (a dragon like creature), swim through Turtle Lagoon to come sliding down through Pineapple Falls; and trek through Black Wizard Forest to reach Diamond Rock. With mystical places as these, the journey has many twists and turns that kept me guessing how it would turn out. I fully appreciated that through this adventure, Teag ultimately learns a lot about himself, his history, and the value of his family. It’s a terrific lesson learned and this is a great story that you’ll want to pass onto the children in your life, as I will too. KobiKobis Island - The Journey Begins, by Aimee Linde, is a terrific adventure, one that I’d recommend to anyone who wants to be magically whisked away."

These are just a few of the many that fell in love with the first book of KobiKobis Island.  What a fun and exciting book it is.
