Dec. 18, 2007 - PRLog -- The effects of global warming are becoming increasingly alarming, and calls for a change in lifestyles and mindsets to halt the omen of disastrous climate change are also becoming louder.

One individual dares to look at the future and predict the consequences in an era of post-global climactic change. This individual is consultant and spiritual advisor Mia den Haan, and she encapsulated her thoughts in the Xlibris release, New Concepts for Business and Humanity: A New Paradigm Shift in Global Consciousness is Needed for the Environment and Business to Co-exist.

New Concepts for Business and Humanity emphasizes the realization that humanity must face: that an adjustment in lifestyle, a reduction in its ecological footprint, and a restoration of the environment are needed to avoid a catastrophic change in the climate.

The importance of the “true self” in creating a paradigm shift toward saving humanity was also emphasized in New Concepts for Business and Humanity. According to the book, the “true self” is the innovative component in every individual that has answers and solutions to any situation in life.

Another concept – according to den Haan through her New Concepts for Business and Humanity – is the application of “care” and its impact on business and personal relationships. The book also cites examples of situations where “care” (or the lack of it) can create significant changes in society.

Overall, New Concepts for Business and Humanity underscores how individuals can make a difference not only in their relationships with fellowmen but also with the world we are living in. It is an insightful book that merits attention in the light of present-day global problems and the seemingly endless debate of economics versus environmental issues.

About the Author
As her last name suggests, Mia den Haan hails from Rotterdam, the Netherlands. However, she and her family transferred to Australia and she has since worked in the information technology sector. She eventually ran her own consultancy firm and became involved in implementing and providing IT solutions to a number of organizations.

Apart from her IT endeavors, Mia also indulges in a unique spiritual gift: receiving visions of the future through channeling. In fact, even as a child, she has already seen through her visions how the planet’s future would be. This talent of hers, as well as her visions, inspired Mia to pen New Concepts for Business and Humanity.
