Cary Family Dental Dentist Nominated for “Best Doctor to Work For” Award

Dec. 17, 2007 - PRLog -- CARY, NC – Cary Family Dental is pleased to announce that Allan Acton, DDS has been nominated for the Crown Council's "Best Doctor to Work For" award.  The Crown Council is a multi-national alliance of leading-edge dental teams dedicated to raising the standard of dental care and becoming leaders in health, wellness, and prevention in their communities.  

Dr. Acton is one of nine dental professionals nominated to receive this award.  The award recognizes one dentist among Crown Council's members in the United States and Canada who has "certain magical qualities that make him/her the very best of his/her profession" and who is "hard-working, caring, personable, knowledgeable, thorough, friendly, up-beat, enthusiastic, compassionate, funny, and positive."  

Dr. Acton and his staff recently took part in the Crown Council’s Smiles for Life campaign, where Cary Family Dental raised over $20,000 by offering teeth whitening services at a significantly reduced price.  Half of the funds raised were contributed to the Garth Brooks’ Teammates For Kids Foundation for use in health, education, and inner city programs that benefit children.  The other half was contributed to Triangle Downs Syndrome.

The winner of the award will be announced at The Crown Council's Annual Event in Nashville, TN in January of 2008.
